Mahler 4

Mahler’s exceptionally beautiful Fourth Symphony features young Kiwi-Danish soprano Louise McClelland Jacobsen, making her Australasian debut, in a profoundly moving performance of one of the most rapturous and serene works the composer ever wrote.

Schubert’s cheery Symphony No.3 is a lively curtain-raiser to a selection of his finest songs, again performed by our guest soprano, with piano accompaniments re-imagined by Britten and Reger.
