An easy transport option for concerts, The Auckland Philharmonia Friends run convenient return transport services from the North Shore and from the Eastern Suburbs, taking you to and from most Town Hall concerts.
This is a safe, social and environmentally friendly way to see Auckland’s orchestra without the stress of navigating the traffic or paying for parking.

We are happy to put you on a waitlist and contact you the week of the concert so that you have time to make alternative transport arrangements if unsuccessful.
We have introduced a close-off date for bookings being midnight of the Wednesday preceding the Thursday evening concert. Any late bookings after this date can only be accepted on a space-available basis and will incur a late booking fee of $15 per person in addition to the applicable fare.
You can pay in cash on the night to Steven. Please place your cash in an envelope marked for the attention of Steven Brodie and be sure to include your name, and the name and date of the concert you are attending.

Howick
$30 for single concerts, or $25 when you book for 5+ concerts
Sunhill and Remuera
$25 for single concerts, or $20 when you book for 5+ concerts
Please note that you will be dropped off at the main entrance to the Town Hall at 321 Queen Street.
After the concert, please meet Steven downstairs between Door A to the Great Hall and the exit to Aotea Square. Steven will escort you to your transport in the Backstage Theatre car park.
