A partnership programme for 50 schools across Tāmaki, providing live performances and mentoring from our musicians, plus tickets to AKl Phil concerts!
A concert for schools, introducing the wonders of a full orchestra in an interactive concert presented by Massive Theatre Company.
NCEA Music students attend an Akl Phil Dress Rehearsal, followed by a Q&A with the conductor, guest soloist and musician from the orchestra!
Primary & Intermediate schools learn a set of songs, to then play along with the orchestra in a live concert presented by Suzy Cato!
A free 2 day workshop for students who are considering studying Music at Unviersity. Students aged 14-18 are paired 1:1 with Auckland Phil musicians to workshop a full Symphony.
A five day intensive programme for students aged 12-17, working with musicians and a professional conductor before a finale concert for friends & whānau.
An orchestral workshop for Intermediate & Secondary schools, where students sit side-by-side with Akl Phil players, led by conductor Leonard Weiss
