Link Up: The Orchestra Moves!

1. Schools sign up in Term 1
2. Teachers receive an online Link Up training session at the beginning of Term 2
3. Teachers teach 7 x songs to their participating students during Term 2 and 3
4. Each school receives a pre-concert visit from our Link Up teacher Hanna to help you prepare for the concert
5. We all come together to play with the Auckland Philharmonia in a finale concert presented by Suzy Cato!

Check out the teaching resource here! As well as the songs your students will learn, it also has a range of additional classroom resources that the Carnegie Hall team have put together including activities you can incorporate into your lessons, information on the pieces and composers, instrument families, and more!

As part of our funding, we can provide a limited number of recorders free of charge. If you’re interested, please indicate this in your application form and we will be in touch to discuss further.

We organize schools' bus transport, and partially subsidise the cost, with each school paying the remainder. The total subsidy varies for each school in relation to their Equity Index number. Please get in touch at for confirmation of your school's subsidy percentage.
