Tunes 4 Tamariki: Kirihimete

Toi Time’s Jojo & Buzz are back to join the Auckland Phil for Tunes 4 Tamariki Kirihimete and this time they’re on the hunt for the perfect Christmas song!

Join them as they sing, shimmy and shake through a live show brimming with festive singalongs, funky dancing and some silly surprises that will have you and your little ones bouncing in their seats!

Experience the sweeping sounds of a live orchestra playing beautiful Christmas music, featuring yuletide favourites with a Kiwiana twist. Jojo & Buzz will explore the sights and sounds of the orchestra, and will be joined by our special guest Sophia Mkoian, the winner of the 2026 Kōkako Award (supported by Kiwi Kids Music), who will be performing an original song with the orchestra.

The concert finishes with our signature Orchestra Walkthrough, where the audience can wander through the orchestra to see and hear the musicians playing up close!

Make a day of it and arrive early for free pre-concert activities. Kids can enjoy facepainting, get stuck into some arts and crafts with The Creative Rume and discover how instruments work with our hands-on Instrument Show & Tell.

Perfect for ages 6 and under, this relaxed, welcoming concert is a joyful introduction to live orchestral music. Come along and join the herd, flock, and pack for a fantabulous family musical adventure!
