Ricarda Merbeth

Ricarda Merbeth is an internationally acclaimed Wagner and Strauss interpreter. She appears at leading opera houses, including the Berlin State Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Bayreuth Festival, the Bavarian and Vienna State Operas, La Scala in Milan, the New National Theatre Tokyo, the Opera nationale de Paris, the Teatro Real in Madrid and La Monnaie in Brussels. Here she sings all the major roles of the dramatic soprano repertoire. Highlights in the current season are her debut as Färberin in Toulouse, Gurrelieder with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Elektra with the Berlin Philharmonic and the role of Brünnhilde at Deutsche Oper Berlin.
