Albert Dohmen can look back on a long international career, the first highlight of which was performing in Wozzeck under Claudio Abbado at the 1997 Salzburg Festival. He has since worked with renowned conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Christian Thielemann, Kurt Masur, Valery Gergiev and James Levine, and has interpreted the major roles in his field at the opera houses of Paris, London, Munich, Zurich, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Vienna, Los Angeles and New York. Dohmen established himself as one of the leading interpreters of Wotan and sang this role in numerous Ring cycles at the world's great opera houses and also at the Bayreuth Festival.
