Jared Holt
Tenor
Jared Holt studied at London’s Royal College of Music and joined the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. Having enjoyed a successful career as a baritone, Jared has made the transition to tenor.
Jared’s recent engagements include Macduff in Macbeth for New Zealand Opera, Schumann’s Scenes from Goethe’s Faust with Orchestra Wellington, the Prologue/Peter Quint in Britten’s Turn of the Screw (New Zealand Opera) and Haydn Nelson Mass (Auckland Choral Society).
Jared Holt recorded the role of Melot Tristan und Isolde with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden under Antonio Pappano on EMI Classics.
