Pelham Andrews is an acclaimed classical Bass singer, known for his versatility and characterisation. Performing for major opera companies and orchestras in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, recent highlights include: Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor) and Banquo (Macbeth) – State Opera South Australia; Bass soloist in Verdi’s Requiem with the Zurich Ballet and Japanese Envoy in The Nightingale – the Adelaide Festival of Arts; and reprisal of his roles from the premiere of Watershed: The Death of Dr Duncan – Opera Australia. Pelham will perform Baron Douphol (La Traviata) in his eagerly anticipated return to the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra this year.
