The Freemasons Foundation New Zealand Opera Chorus is a world-class cohort of singers, adding depth, richness and beauty to New Zealand Opera’s most powerful mainstage productions, alongside other major concerts and collaborations each year.
With three carefully selected choruses – based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington and Ōtautahi Christchurch – each blends both aspiring and experienced voices to create a powerful, adaptable ensemble to meet the unique needs of any production.
NZ Opera brings stories to life through the power of the human voice, and Te Kōrihi showcases this power – en masse and in gorgeous harmony – at its spine-tingling best.
