Violinist Ewa Sadag was born and educated in Poland. She graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Music with a double major in Violin Performance and Sound Engineering.
Before taking up a position with the Auckland Philharmonia in 1994, she worked with the Szczecin Philharmonic Orchestra and the Szczecin Chamber Orchestra.
In addition to her long career as an orchestral musician, Ewa enjoys teaching violin and particularly working with children with learning difficulties using movement and listening therapies. In her leisure time, she loves getting out into her garden, travelling, and exploring the beautiful natural environment of New Zealand.
