Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, violinist Claire Geho is an experienced orchestra and chamber musician with diverse musical and creative skills. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami Frost School of Music as a student of Charles Castleman, where she was a winner of the 2019 Frost Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. She then completed her master’s degree and Advanced Musical Studies Certificate at Carnegie Mellon University where she served as the teaching assistant to William van der Sloot. She has studied extensively with Emilio Llinas, and has performed in masterclasses for James Ehnes, Martin Chalifour, Erin Keefe, and Jeff Thayer, among others. Claire has most recently performed with orchestras including the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the New World Symphony, the West Virginia Symphony, the Syracuse Orchestra, and the Canton Symphony. Notable summer festivals she has participated in include NYO-USA (2016), the Castleman Quartet Program, NYO Canada, the National Repertory Orchestra, and Orford Music Academy.
