Camille Wells

Originally from the Boston area, Camille has been Associate Principal Oboe of the Auckland Philharmonia since 2009.  She has also performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, New Jersey Symphony, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, and most recently as guest principal with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Camille is a graduate of the New England Conservatory, where she studied with Boston Symphony Principal Oboist John Ferrillo. In 2009, she concluded studies at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia under Richard Woodhams of the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Passionate about teaching, Camille maintains a busy oboe studio and volunteers with the Teach To Learn program in Kabul, Afghanistan.
