Tiki Taane with Auckland Phil

Tiki Taane is undoubtedly one of Aotearoa’s most well-known and diverse artists and producers.

In October 2026 he will join Auckland Philharmonia to perform a selection of music from his back catalogue specially reimagined for live orchestra, including his breakthrough 2008 hit ‘Always on My Mind’.

In Tiki Taane with Auckland Phil, Tiki and his special guests — drum and bass artist Tali, rapper Big Sima, as well as Tiki's son Charlie and daughter Karcia — join the full symphonic force of the Auckland Phil to perform a selection of music from his back catalogue, specially reimagined for live orchestra.

Tiki recently performed with Auckland Phil at Synthony in Auckland’s Domain, and this is a chance to catch his electrifying talent and energy in an original collaborative experience at the iconic Auckland Town Hall.

This is a thrilling and long-overdue reboot of Taane’s original 2021 sold out live show with Christchurch Symphony Orchestra (CSO), which was also recorded as a live album and made into a multi award-winning full-length documentary Tiki Taane in Session with CSO.
