‘INSIDE VOICES’ (Tim Lambourne) has been announced as the opening act for the upcoming concert in Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra’s new Session Series, Hallertau Brewery presents: LEISURE and APO.
On Friday 6 April, the five-piece Auckland band will be performing all their own hits plus new songs reimagined with full orchestral arrangements by Claire Cowan and Hamish Oliver.
INSIDE VOICES will kick off the concert with a DJ set at 9pm, followed by the APO performing two pieces by contemporary composers. LEISURE will then take to the stage, together with the APO as its 72-piece backing band, conducted by Hamish McKeich.
Currently residing in Tokyo, Tim Lambourne is a former host at George FM, and has also featured in festival lineups including Spring Break Fiji, Our House Music festival and Rhythm and Vines in 2017.
