Supporting the Auckland City Mission
The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra will be holding a Food Drive at our first mainstage concert of 2023 to help Aucklanders affected by the recent flooding and cyclone. The orchestra has partnered with the Auckland City Mission which will be distributing the donated items to those in need.
If you are attending the concert and would like to get involved here are some examples of the kind of items you can bring along;
- Canned foods
- Pasta and rice
- Cereals, muesli bars and spreads
- Baby food
- Toiletries and hygiene products.
- If you really want to make someone’s day, a sweet treat always goes down well!
The drop off point for items will be located by the APO Friends table on the stalls level of the Auckland Town Hall and will be accessible when doors open at 5.30pm on Thursday 23 February.
