In 2018, Selina Ott became the first woman ever to win First Prize in the Trumpet category at the ARD International Music Competition, aged only 20. Since then, she has appeared with leading ensembles including the WDR Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic, the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, and the Budapest Festival Orchestra under Iván Fischer. She has performed in major halls such as the Vienna Konzerthaus, Musikverein Wien, Berlin Philharmonie, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Recent highlights include debuts with the Hamburg State Orchestra and Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, as well as the Austrian premiere of Wynton Marsalis’s Trumpet Concerto under Marin Alsop.
