Pelham Andrews is an acclaimed classical Bass singer, known for his vocal warmth and versatile characterisation. Performing for major opera companies and orchestras in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, recent highlights include: Laurent (Romeo et Juliette), Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor) and Banquo (Macbeth) – State Opera South Australia; Bass soloist in Verdi’s Requiem with the Zurich Ballet and Japanese Envoy in The Nightingale – the Adelaide Festival of Arts; and reprisal of his roles from the premiere of Watershed: The Death of Dr Duncan – Opera Australia. In 2025 Pelham returned to the Auckland Philharmonia to perform Baron Douphol in La Traviata.
