Leo Hussain

Leo Hussain was formerly Music Director of the Opéra de Rouen and Salzburg Landestheater. He now conducts for many of the world’s leading orchestras and opera houses and is Principal Guest Conductor of the George Enescu Philharmonic.
Opera engagements include Frankfurt Opera, Hamburg State Opera, Welsh National Opera, English National Opera, San Francisco Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper and Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
Many recent concert appearances include his debut for the Salzburg Festival and performances with the Hamburg, Vienna and Bamberg symphony orchestras, Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne, Royal Danish Orchestra and NHK Symphony Orchestra.
