Jennifer Raven

Jennifer joined the Auckland Philharmonia in 1990 after arriving from the UK where she attended Birmingham Conservatoire Music College. While in the UK she played for various shows and orchestras including the CBSO (with Sir Simon Rattle conducting) and The Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Since joining the Auckland Philharmonia, she has also played for many other organisations around NZ including the NZSO, ACO and MSO as well as playing for shows and visiting artists.

Jenny has always been involved in teaching having held positions at Auckland University, Kings Prep, St. Kentigern College, St May’s College and other schools around Auckland. She is very involved in the Auckland Philharmonia’s Education programme both teaching/mentoring and with the group  Mousike giving schools concerts.
