Haochen Zhang

Since winning the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009, a feat captured in the documentary A Surprise in Texas, Haochen Zhang has captivated audiences around the world.
He has appeared with orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Lucerne Festival, Philadelphia, Munich Philharmonic, London Symphony, London Philharmonic, Frankfurt Radio, San Francisco Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Seattle Symphony, Warsaw Philharmonic, Hong Kong Philharmonic and Mariinsky orchestras among others.
In 2019, Haochen released his debut concerto album on BIS performing Prokofiev and Tchaikovsky. His has also released albums featuring works by Schumann, Brahms, Janáček and Liszt, and the complete Beethoven concerti with the Philadelphia Orchestra.
