Edgar Moreau

Born in 1994, Edgar Moreau is a prize-winner of multiple international competitions, and is now one of the most acclaimed cellists of his generation.
Edgar regularly collaborates with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Myung-Whun Chung, Marin Alsop, Lahav Shani, Pablo Heras-Casado, Lionel Bringuier, and performs with world-renowned orchestras, such as London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony, Israel Philharmonic, Orchestre de Paris, Tokyo Metropolitan.
He collaborates with artists such as Martha Argerich, Yo-Yo Ma, Renaud Capuçon, Khatia Buniatishvili, and David Kadouch.
An exclusive Erato-Warner artist, his discography includes recitals with David Kadouch, baroque cello concertos with Il Pomo d’Oro, Gulda and Offenbach concertos, a family album featuring Korngold and Dvořák, and Transmission, celebrating Jewish heritage and musical tradition.
Latest release: Dutilleux and Weinberg concertos, with Andris Poga and WDR Köln Sinfonie (Warner Classics, 2023).
