Deborah Humble
Mezzo-soprano
Renowned as one of Australia’s most successful international artists, Deborah Humble is widely recognized for her performances of Wagner and the dramatic mezzo repertoire.
She recently appeared as Waltraute in Die Walküre with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and as alto soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No.8 with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra. She sang Waltraute and made her role debut as Fricka in three complete cycles of The Ring for Opera Australia and sang Klytämnestra in Elektra and Clairon in Capriccio for Victorian Opera.
In 2025, she sings Verdi’s Requiem for Queensland Symphony and Beethoven’s Symphony No.9 with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
