Violin
Arabella Steinbacher is among today’s leading violinists. She has collaborated with orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony, London Symphony, BBC Philharmonic and Gewandhausorchester Leipzig.

Her recording of Piazzolla’s and Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons received rapturous reviews, The Guardian’s 5-star piece ending simply: “what a player”.
Steinbacher plays the ‘ex-Benno Walter’ Stradivarius and the ‘Sainton’ Guarneri, both generously provided by a private Swiss Foundation.
You can see Arabella Steinbacher live with the Auckland Philharmonia on Thursday 26 June at Classic Series: Beethoven 5
