Noted by The Strad for her "blazing insight and dazzling virtuosity", New Zealander Amalia Hall celebrates a diverse career as a soloist, as Concertmaster of Orchestra Wellington and violinist of NZTrio.
Amalia made her solo debut aged nine. Solo appearances since include the National Symphony of Uzbekistan, United Strings of Europe and I Virtuosi Italiani. She won the top prize at five international competitions and is also a laureate of the Joseph Joachim Competition and Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians.
A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, she has performed throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, United Kingdom, Australia and NZ.
