Auckland Philharmonia and award-winning songwriter Chris Sanders have joined forces to create five songs and education resources for primary schools.  The songs follow the adventures of Hana, a curious glowworm who is drawn out of her cave by the beautiful sounds of a faraway orchestra.  Four and a set of lesson plans & resources are currently be available to primary schools across Aotearoa for FREE! Bring your class along for the journey as Hana meets new friends and learns about the instruments of the orchestra!

“The Hana story is full of fantasy, adventure and drama intertwined with magnificent music! It will be a huge sensory experience for children that will help them learn about different sections of the orchestra.” - Chris Sanders

This is a large collaboration which incorporates talent from all over Aotearoa, with music written by Chris Sanders and scored by New Zealand based arrangers Adrian Hollay and Linda Dallimore respectively. Kiwi music icon Rikki Morris is in the music producer seat and breakthrough artist Natalie Conaty has developed the character illustrations. The education resources have been produced by Auckland Philharmonia Learn & Participate.
