Claudia Ruff

Originally from Germany where she studied media and theatre studies as well as music education, Claudia moved to New Zealand over a decade ago and started working in the Auckland Philharmonia's Learn & Participate Department managing the school’s programme, delivering workshops and producing concerts. After her first daughter was born, she ventured out of the orchestral world to work in environmental education and as the manager of the Tironui Music Trust. After a few years, her passion for the orchestra and music education led her to close the circle and come back to work with the Auckland Philharmonia, developing and organising inspiring and interactive projects with and for people living in Tāmaki Makaurau.
