Pese! Fasi! Pūoro! is a community workshop led by NZ Assistant Conductor-In-Residence Reuben Brown and Auckland Philharmonia musicians for tamariki and rangatahi from Sistema Aotearoa, an Ōtara-based youth orchestra.
Auckland Philharmonia & Sistema have nurtured a collaborative partnership for over 10 years, and in this workshop they will rehearse a diverse selection of music that ranges from well-known classical composers, through to modern pop favourites.
The workshop culminates in a free concert at the Due Drop Events Centre at 3pm, where friends, whānau and the wider community can enjoy the finale performance of the orchestral pieces rehearsed during the workshop.
