Once a year, the Auckland Philharmonia welcomes student musicians to join a workshop and performance in the Auckland Town Hall alongside members of the orchestra. Participants are seated next to Auckland Philharmonia musicians, paired one-to-one, for a powerful and memorable mentoring experience. Following the workshop is an evening concert on the Auckland Town Hall stage, delivered together by the students and Auckland Philharmonia musicians, and free for audience members to attend!
Who can apply?
- Students from the University of Auckland School of Music
- Players from Auckland Youth Orchestra
- Advanced secondary school students
Participants must be at Grade 6 or equivalent level.
