An easy transport option for concerts, The Auckland Philharmonia Friends run convenient return bus services from the North Shore and from the Eastern Suburbs, taking you to and from most Town Hall concerts for only $20 if paid in advance, or $25 on the night.
This is a safe, social and environmentally friendly way to see Auckland’s orchestra without the stress of navigating the traffic or paying for parking.
Please note that we no longer stop at Meadowbank due to low patronage and costs.

As we’re now using Auckland Taxi Co-op taxivans on the eastern route, we have introduced a close-off date for bookings being the Thursday preceding the concert. Any late bookings after this date can only be accepted on a space-available basis. There will also be a late booking fee of $5.
You can pay cash on the night to a member of the Friends Committee upon arrival at the Town Hall. Please place your cash in an envelope marked for the attention of Steven Brodie and be sure to include your name, and the name and date of the concert you are attending.
