Join the Auckland Philharmonia and the University of Auckland for a day of Arts in the heart of your city. Experience the preparations made for the orchestra’s upcoming Classics Series: Schumann Cello Concerto before travelling to the University’s City Campus for a curated tour of the institution’s art collection.   

Comprising of over 1700 features permanently on display across the University’s campuses, the University of Auckland’s Art Collection breathes life into the institution, enhancing the environment around campuses to connect and inspire those who utilise the spaces. 

This unique Behind the Scenes event will include a tour of the campus and highlighting significant pieces followed by a backstage look at a selection of material from the university’s Special Collections. 

Morning tea following the open rehearsal will be at Q Theatre and is included in the ticket price.
