Join us for a day full of arts with the Auckland Philharmonia, Covert Theatre and Objectspace art gallery.

This curated and hosted arts day will commence with an Auckland Philharmonia open rehearsal as the orchestra prepares for The New Zealand Herald Premier Series: Sir Andrew Davis: A Tribute (1944 – 2024).

Covert Theatre will host the second part of the day’s tour for a delicious morning tea followed by an improv show and Q+A about the spontaneous art form.

The day will conclude with a tour of Objectspace, where the gallery director, Kim Paton will share insights into the curation process and works included in her latest exhibition How to make a home. Walking through the exhibition design by Micheal McCabe, you’ll gain insights into the exhibitions broad research pool and Kim’s thinking around the project – from the advent of the modern interior to the 2022 reality TV series Instant Dream Home.
