Auckland Philharmonia 2026 Season — Now on Sale!

Ticketing & Sales Manager

• Share the excitement of Auckland’s professional orchestra
• Bring your ticket sales ideas to life in a stimulating role
• Join a friendly team of arts professionals and music-lovers

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic sales superstar, with at least five years’ experience in ticketing and event sales, to lead our busy box office team.

The Ticketing & Sales Manager plays a vital role in driving effective ticketing and sales processes, supporting marketing initiatives to achieve sales targets and delivering a high level of customer service.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, a good working knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Tessitura (training can be provided), and experience in financial management, reporting and analysis. Familiarity with other ticketing and marketing products and technologies would be beneficial. You will also be great communicator with a proactive attitude and the ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

In return we offer a collaborative and friendly team environment where you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills, bringing ideas and initiatives to life and sharing in success.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Auckland’s largest performing arts organisation and use your ticketing knowledge and customer relationship expertise, working together with the marketing team to drive ticket sales. We enjoy connecting with our audience and giving them the best possible experience when they contact the Auckland Phil.

Auckland Philharmonia is based at the iconic Auckland Town Hall, in the heart of the city’s arts hub. There will be evening, and occasional weekend work and we offer flexibility to support these out of hours activities. There is also the opportunity to work from home as part of your week. Concert tickets to experience the orchestra live is another great perk of the job!

With the 2026 concert season in full swing, there has never been a better time to join the team at Auckland Philharmonia and share our love of music with the people of Tāmaki Makaurau.
